ACT & Cytech at the Cycle Show '10

The Association of Cycle Traders are committing to the full four days at stand C24 of the Cycle Show 2010.The main objectives of the stand will be the promotion of our members to the public (via The Cycling Experts), Cytech workshops and the ride it away cycle finance scheme.
ACT aims to generate increasing exposure and interest in local cycle shops, highlighting the services, products, technical skills and passion for the promotion of cycling available in every local cycle shop.
On the trade day ACT staff will be available for any queries to both existing and prospective members.
Direct consumer promotion
The Cycling Experts (ACT's website) re-launches on the 1st October helping to raise the profile of all specialist cycle retailers, commencing with promotion to all public visitors at Cycle 2010. Click here to find out more about the revamped website.
Visitors to the show will be able to find out where their local shop is so when they return home they can purchase the brand new bike and accessories they have just seen exhibited. Members of the public that visit The Cycling Experts (ACT) stand they will receive a print-out which includes local shop details such as address, website, brands stocked, opening hours and much more.

The Cycling Experts shop listing also feeds an increasing number of other popular sites, enhancing consumer traffic to c. 250,000 per month.
Cytech Technical Advice Area
To drive awareness of Cytech accreditation across the trade and to consumers, various demonstrations and Q&A sessions will be available thanks to ATG training. The trade will be offered more technical skills such as wheelbuilding and consumers can get involved with basic skills such as puncture repair.
Cytech experts will be provided for the duration of the show along with tool benches and demo bikes, so everyone can come and have a go!
