Even though we are not a retailer our sales to retailers was up 400% over last November.

36% up on last year all thanks to Cycle to Work. Margin is suffering due to the huge CTW commissions but overall I am happy. The question is, should we be moaning about the massive take off the top by the CTW organisations or should we be grateful for the queue of new customers wanting to spend a grand? JP

The comment by 'JP' (can't be his real name) is typical of negative comments that abound in retail. 'Business up 36%'. I wonder if this retailers business would have been up by that margin if C2W had not been in place. I doubt it. So get off your high horse and be grateful that those £1000.00 vouchers are there. It's better than selling kids bikes with their low margins. Ba humbug.
