The distance learning course 
Cytech Technical One Theory is a distance learning course designed as an introduction to bike maintenance which can be completed via distance learning at home or in the work place.
A further practical assessment is available to upgrade this course to a full Cytech Technical One qualification. Or you can complete the theory and practical elements together in Cytech One
What does this course include?
The distance learning course incorporates the following workshop skills and is managed and assessed by the Association of Cycle Traders direct:

- Lubricants and Greases
- Pre-Delivery Inspection
- Tyres & Tubes
- Consumer Protection Act
What do I receive when I buy the course?
The Cytech Technical One Theory module is provided as a complete standalone course incorporating full information and multiple choice questions on all the workshop skill areas above.
- Complete course folder containing information on all subject areas
- Multiple choice question paper
- Return envelope to submit your complete question paper
The course can be completed very quickly and certified within 4 weeks. Candidates have up to 6 months within which to complete the course and return it for marking. The distance learning format enables candidates to develop their skills at their own pace whilst completing the accreditation.
What is the pass mark?
You must gain a minimum of 90% to pass the course.
What do I receive when I pass?
Every candidate who passes the course receives a Cytech Technical One Theory certificate of achievement.
Candidates who have passed the distance learning course are eligible to take a practical module enabling them to upgrade their accreditation to the Cytech Technical One qualification, via our recognised training providers.
