The qualification designed for cycle retailers who wish to offer the highest levels of after sales service and customer care. Cytech Technical Two provides full practical training and assessment in the core areas of assembly, set-up and ongoing servicing and maintenance.
Gain "Cytech Accredited" status
Gaining Cytech Technical Two or Three means you gain official "Cytech Accredited" status. ACT Gold and Platinum members will receive an annual "Cytech Accredited" window sticker and icons on shop listings and Yellow Pages adverts to promote your status. You also gain rights to use the Cytech logo on your own advertising and marketing materials.
What does this course include?
Intensive training and assessment in practical and theory covering the following topics:
- Set-up and fault finding on cycle systems
- Gears, including front and rear mechs, shifters, chain, cassette, chainset and bottom bracket
- Brakes, cable and general hydraulic brake information
- Basic Wheelbuilding
- Headsets
- Hubs
- Pedals
- Saddles
The Cytech Technical Two qualification can be achieved through both of the approved Cytech Technical training providers.
